What is play therapy?
Play Therapy is a child focused therapy for children who may be struggling socially or emotionally. The Play Therapist supports the child to explore their thoughts and feelings through the use of play and creative activities. By providing emotional support to the child, the therapist helps the child to understand and overcome difficult emotions or behaviours in a safe way.

Through using play the child can express themselves at an age appropriate level and at a pace that feels comfortable to them.
